Chattanooga lost 78-62 to East Tennessee State in the Southern Conference tournament final, in front of 3,679 at the North Charleston Coliseum. This ended a good season for the Mocs, who made it a close game despite their leader Ashlee Champion, who got hurt midway through the game.
